Anyone else experiencing a worse than usual lead time for appointments?

I requested a (repeat) investigation into suspected transfer box issue at the end of September 2022 and was offered 21 November as first available date with courtesy car, which I accepted.

Today got told that due to unexpectedly receiving "over 60 breakdown recoveries on site" within the last week (aside: what on earth is going on with Porsche reliability if one London centre is getting that many breakdown recoveries that need to be brought in a week?!) they would have to rearrange.

I said ok, what's the next available soonest date. Offered 23 January 2023. Surely that's got to be beyond reasonable given I've just waited 2 months and they cancelled last minute on me!

Or am I being unfair?

How quickly can they accommodate you without providing a company car?

Workshop we use next door usually accommodates us fairly quickly likely because we're a regular customer but it's not unusual for a 2 to 4 week wait for work.
We use a Porsche dealer at Crowfield Suffolk for this make but again its 4 weeks + just for servicing..

I have recently tried to book in my Cayenne S for an oil service, no loan car requirement, as I see it as a customer waiting service (£435).
The dealer I purchased it from wouldn’t take a call, had to be put through to a central booking office who were too busy to take a call, so had to go online. Asked for a date over 4 weeks ahead, replied saying no, will have to be December 22nd, needless to say I declined their services, found another Porsche Centre closer to home and booked in without any issue.
Very unlikely to replace the car with another Porsche, given the very low standard of customer service.
