Ok - only had it 3 days so yet to do much top down cruising but I love it !! 2018 car. Powerful, smooth, easy to drive - great tech inside. Roll on spring !!!
Anyone else got one similar ?

My favourite 911. Congratulations.
Is the roof quiet when closed? The one I test drive creaked and groaned a bit which put me off.

It does squeak a bit - I think it has been over cleaned and maybe the rubber seals etc are a bit dry so they squeak - I’m going to try and soften them and grease them up a little to see if that helps.

That looks lovely. Mine’s not a targa, but a tin-top C4GTS I picked up earlier this year. Quite simply the best car I’ve owned, and a real do-it-all vehicle (leaving aside hoofing wardrobes home from IKEA).

Itching to get it up to the Highlands/alps/etc.

I did want a targa but couldn’t find one I liked at the time, and was too impatient to wait.

Did 300 miles this week before the roads started icing over ! 4 wheel drive is good but not sure I trust my driving skills that much !

The 991.2GTS is an amazing 911 and one of my favs. The Targa version is merely icing on the cake and in the best possible colour.

I had a 2018 Targa 4 GTS for 2.5 years and had no squeaks and rattles in mine at all. Was almost as though it had been made out of of granite. A great car and the best looking of the 991.2 range in my opinion.

I did some reading up on rubber treatment as the window on our mini was rattling on the rubber trim in the summer and recommendations were Next Zett Gummi Pfledge Stift.
Anyway never got round to ordering but the last couple of days doors have been sticking to rubbers so ordered the Liqui Moly one of Amazon for £4.40

I meant to say - I had squeaks, turned out to be the seat belt sockets rubbing on the side of the seats.

I covered them in felt tape - problem solved.

I also used the Phlegm Gummy Bear biglaugh solution to coat every rubber seal, just to make sure!
