Porsche cayenne 4.5 turbo 955 air suspension issue
Discussion
Hi all I've got a porsche cayenne on a 2003 it's a 955 turbo I've got an issue with the air suspension it's not working I've checked the fuses in the side of the front passenger side dash panel and the ones under the bonnet all are fine I can't hear the compressor running at all and the dash fault is saying pressure accumulator charging are there any other fuses relays anywhere has anyone had this issue before please help many thanks
The compressor relay is in the relay board on the drivers side above the pedals. Its tricky to access but OK once the lower dash trim panel and parking brake handle/cable are removed.
Its a standard 4 pin but high current 40A relay.
The board releases from its' bracket downwards and into the footwell; you can bridge 30 & 87 to test the compressor circuit or just swapping in a new relay is quicker. If you are experiencing the cold like most over here the compressor can freeze or stop when very cold.

To share my experience of air suspension problems.
I did have a new compressor at one point but also suffered a range of gremlins due to water ingress and wet carpets on the Uk passenger side. This causes wiring joint to decay. I think the garage also had to re do some joints under the car too.
Think Pope knows much much more about this than me however.
