I am looking for some advice on our 718 Cayman any help would be greatly appreciated

At it's 4th year service in early December the brake fluid was changed. I'd noticed the brake feel deteriorate over the summer and thought that this would solve the issue but it still feels soft with a fair amount of travel. I mentioned this to the tech and they said it was normal

Any advice?

Bleed the brakes out, see if any bubbles come along.

My money's on glazed pads.

Take it out and drive it; braking hard from 60 - 20 repeatedly; with any luck you'll sharpen the pedal feel up once the pad surface has bedded back in.

Thanks for the advice on this -

I forgot to mention in early December the car had a brake fluid flush and front discs and pads at the main dealer

The old ones were not completely out of life but I opted for the change because I noticed the soft pedal

but it hasn't solved my issue

So.... did you do this when the brakes were first replaced?

And is the car for sale?

Braided lines may also assist, if the current ones have expanded

Unlikely to be that significant though
