My 2019 model Cayenne S (the twin turbo 2.9 V6) has averaged 26mpg over 28,000 miles from new. Early on, it would struggle to ever get above 30mpg, but as the engine loosened up after 10k miles it now returns 32-33mpg on a long motorway trip, or low to mid 20s around town. Even with a roof box and a family's worth of bikes on the back, it did 27mpg on a round trip to the alps last year.

Not great, but not bad when you consider it's a 2+ tonne SUV with 440hp.
