Trying to get an idea of what my car might be worth in a private or trade in (not with an OPC !!)

2002 996 TT
Seal Grey/Black leather
23k miles
All usual stuff plus 6 CD, full Elec seats, probably a couple other things that can't remember & wont make any difference to the value.
Just had major service, full OPC history.
Long MOT.

I reckon you may get 55k privately...I would be suprised if you get more than 52k at most for a px. Must surely make it worth keeping?

I would keep it mate - Mine is the same - lost 10k on it and part x would give me 45k as mine is a year older. My plan is keep it a year or so then get into a 997 TT if the reviews are good etc or get a new 996 TT S or Cab. Or maybe a 360 as I really want to try one for a bit but knows - I still reakon the turbo is the better car

I called my brother who is a sales manager at a Jaguar garage & has a glasses guide :

2002 (52) 996 TT Manual @ 18k miles = books at £57.5k

So my estimate of £55k wasn't bad?

I've just bought one so I've had my eye on prices for a while. I'm with the others though - keep it!!

They've lost a lot over the past 12mths and prices are now levelling off.

Seriously book prices are a good indication,,,,it doesn't mean the garage has to pay you that ammount.
If the dealer has a couple in stock already I am in no doubt he is going to bid back....just enjoy it, it is a great car...if you didn't sell it at that silly price you would prefer to buy one as it is such good value
