I've had my faithful old RS since new (Oct 2007), and in the last couple of years have noticed the clutch getting notch. Also, since Porsche announced the upgrade for PCCM I thought out would be worth. try. In the end there ws some minor scoring on the flywheel so did that too.

The car now drives like new- I was surprised at the improvement.
The PCCM upgrade is fine an functional, moved it from being 16 years out of date till 3 or so. Bluetooth/Nav all fine and functional, but unlike my Cayenne Apple Play etc requires the phone to be physically connected. As frequently noted the screen is pretty basic, but it does the job. Bluetooth quality is fine. Since there are no steering wheel buttons there is a combo of buttons and screen on the console but one gets used to it quite quickly. The installation looks like ti was always there.

Before installation

After installation.

Happy carsmile

Fantastic all round; the new infotainment keeps the car current but is there ever an excuse to not want to drive the RS...?

No reason not to drive, though the clutch replacement was a massive improvement. Gear changes are now very smooth and the clutch feels lighter than it did oddly enough . The infotainment is handy mainly for hands free phone.

Do you get nav directions in the cluster still?

yes as far as I can see,. Have not tried it yet but it shows as ready to directions. Live traffic is generally useful. The whole thing feels about 2017 vintage but data is current. Strange to have some physical media...the is a small SIM for the nav system,.
