Does anyone know whether if a year is missed out of the annual vehicle inspection within the first 10 years of the car's life, that invalidates the guarantee?

Yup. I shouldn't imaine that if you turn up with a problem with stamps missing then they'd just accept it and do the work anyway.

This issue stopped my buying car earlier this year.

If a Porsche goes rusty within 10years it will be as a result of accident damage or neglect, neither off which the warranty will cover even if it had been inspected.

Wouldnt worry too much about it if everything else about the car is fine IMHO

It's nowt serious. I've got a little bit of paint bubbling at the bottom edge of the rear screen and I was wondering whether to take it in to the OPC, or leave it until service time and get my independent to sort it out. As I have previously avoided the OPC, I did not get an inspection done last year. Doh!

Altho I service mine at an independent now, i still get OPC to do MOT and annual body insp. They even went back and stamped all of the inspections when I told them I was taking it out of the OPC network for service. How cool is that?
