993 turbo ownership v cs2/c4s
Discussion
Looking for a 993 c2s/c4s now. While doing a view other day I bumped into a 70k mile turbo at Paragon and the little voices started in my head and had me questioning ( a little) my current selection criteria. Car was £40k so some £5k north of what I am expecting to pay for similar mileage c2s/c4s - but that gap is not so large.
Are these cars as bomb proof as the standard cars? I have heard not but would be interested in views on this and assume repair/maintenance costs much higher?

My 1996 factory upgrade 993TT is approaching 80K mies now. It is my ONLY car and is used every day. It starts, stops, goes like a playstation game in any gear, handles all weathers, is comfortable and is still the best looking 911 model on the planet. Uses no oil (but lots of petrol).Love it to bits. I used to have a 993 C4 and nice as it was, just NO comparison in the fun factor.
