Removing the passenger seat?

Hi there Boxster aficionados,

since I need to use my trusted Boxster to haul a tree halfway through the country I was wondering if it were easy to remove the passenger seat - is it just a matter of removing the two screws at the rear end of the rails or is this a major undertaking?

May sound like an odd question but I'd rather do the trip in my own than rent a car...

For the potential damage it could do I would tap up a mate with an old estate car!!!
