I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to your Boxter. My Boss kindly jump started my Polo G40 and we left the porsche running afterwards teh little LCD was displaying a message ABS/PCM fault go to Dealer!

Has a simple thing like jump starting really upset the Porsche or is just a voltage drop has upset triggered teh warning?

My car only requires a small amount of current to crank it over and is not a huge desiel.

Any idears, I don't think my Boss really wants to have to take it to a dealer if it can be manually reset.

I hope someone can help.

Pulling the ecu fuse for a short while should result in an ecu reset. Disconnecting the battery should accomplish the same.
