Where abouts in Sidcup is the Tesco? The only one I know is next to the Jaguar garage and last time I looked, they didn't even do Super Unleaded.

Someone posted a list here of Tesco stores stocking the stuff in the last week or so. They got it direct from the horses mouth.

Can be found here: www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=204127&f=48&h=0

Did the horse have a nozzle atached, or did they lift the back legs to fill the tank?

mine seems to run a bit lumpy on this stuff - probably wants the ECU reset. It runs better on Optimax. We did a post on this subject a little while ago which listed all the petrol stations that sell it.

I agree for the money its great but RoShambo bought up the point that Optimax also has cleaning agents in it.

Agreed but, firstly, you need to be convinced that the cleaning agents actually have any merit and, secondly, you can always buy a cleaning agent and stick it in every now and again.

true, maybe I will try it again with an ECU reset another day and see what happens then. It could be as mine has been modified too that it doesn't get on well with ut?

Its been proved that Optimax cleans as you use it, EVO mag did a pretty conclusive test a year or so ago & concluded that it does what it says on the tin. As i recall they were actually very impressed in its cleaning ability.

The original list of 12 Tesco 'trial' stores came in an e-mail from their Customer Services dept - but it looks like they're already expanding the number of outlets for their 99 fuel so it would be worth checking the local store.

Tesco at Riverhead (near Sevenoaks) has it cos I had to put some in my bike this week when unleaded ran out. Didn't make any difference to the bike, but then its got an old technology engine in a fairly low state of tune.

I believe Shell are planning to introduce V-Power 100 into the UK in November of this year.

It's still next to the Jaguar garage. They are quite expensive though and seem match the price of the BP garage up the road. I try and use Tesco Lakeside which is up to 4p per litre cheaper.
