911 Carrera 3.2 Air Con HELP!!!

I've owned this great car for the past few months(1984 911 Carrera 3.2) Does anyone know how to operate the air con. There appears to be a small wheel on the centre console, between the two seats, one on the dash and a fan wheel on the top part of the centre console below the dash.

If the car came with an owner's manual, check that... and google search for a pdf'd one on the net. Old 911s had quite 'interesting' heater controls. Remember that the chances of your old 3.2's aircon working are pretty slim; the gas probably leaked out two owners ago. If it's on cold and it ain't, then I'd get an aircon specialist to sort it all out for you. Probably just needs new seals and a regas.

Mine does not have aircon, but the small wheel in between the seats is the heater control, higher the number the hotter it gets.
