Is it possible to fit heated seats to a 2004 Boxster S, I`m thinking that this would cost to much to do, ie new seats/wiring loom etc etc ?

Thks

HI,

Possibly the easiest thing to do is install a set of aftermarket seat heaters. Several are made from a matrix of Carbon Fibre as opposed to a traditional heating coil (which is what the OEM seats use). This makes for greater comfort and more even heating. They are even lower power draw and less expensive than the OEM option.

I am planning to install a set of these AF ones. I will tap into the existing Harness (just like the OEM Option) and I will use OEM switches for a stock appearance. You must separate the two halves of the seat and put the matrix between the Foam padding and the Upholstery, maybe 1Hr./seat. Check them out here: www.sportsimportsltd.com/seatheatac.html
