Hi Guys

Hi there,

I am hoping to take my 997 GT3 home via Holland in July. Has anyone experience of the ground clearance on the Stenna Britannia boat? My car has a front splitter with 10cm clearance. I've phoned and emailed Stenna and they just reply it varies. I've looked at a few YouTube videos and the approach looks very flat on the gangway.

Many thanks

I use the ferry every 6 weeks or so

Not a 997 GT3, but 991 RS, 992 GT3, 991 GTS, 992 GTS and Dakar!

What I can say is the staff/loaders, will allow you to zag and zig on and off, it's not wacky races there, but it does depend on the tide. sometimes its easier than other times.

Do it...

Same experience as Monch. I use that ferry for trips to Zandvoort. Certainly used to be a much more civilised experience than the Chunnel - hopefully any new check wont have ruined that.

But yeah, staff are patient and allow you to zig-zag and crawl up at an angle to get on board. Arrive in plenty of time, take your time and don't be rushed.

I’m tentative for a trip in July actually… wont be such an issue at all in the 4RS now as that has FAL.

It's very dependent on tides. If low you may struggle. And stick to the lower deck as internal ramps can be an issue too.
