insurance incl track cover
Discussion
Just found out that Aon are now including 5 free track days in a yearly premium. After this, as before, you still pay a bit over 0.1% of the value of the car for each day (rougly £50 for me) per day , but this covers you for the full value.
Saves me nearly £300 a year! whoopee.
Are there any better companies /deals around for track cover.?
for reference...Im 36/ 3 points mk1 gt3 garaged...mileage 5k limited
I pay Aon £1300 a year..
Looks like competition is starting take effect!

Not sure how, but I'm paying less than that. 29, London very bad post code, RS.
With Aon and the same deal though. My only concern is I seem to be putting on mileage too quick.
got anypoints??
cant believe you havent with the cars youve had.
No, although I did have to declare a 1 month ban I had 5 years ago, and a 1000 quid insurance claim that was my fault 1.5 years ago (big mistake claiming for that one...).
You know insurers though, prices vary radically depending on how they want to shape their risk profile at any given time. Still a very good deal and your car history is a bit brief to tell what you've owned before which does effect things. Are you a member of the Porsche club as that was 5-10% off for me...
Also the policy didn't include 5 free days when I got it, but they retrofitted them on for me. Perhaps the 5 days are now factored into the price!
