Porsche parts lead times

Anyone else going mad waiting on parts arriving? My 991 is due a replacement rear spoiler drive under warranty, and I’ve been waiting over 3 months for it now.

WTAF is going on? Apparently it’s to do with them moving warehouses in Germany, but I cannot understand how things could have gone so badly wrong.

I recently had some parts (injectors) take almost 2 weeks to arrive and was told about the warehouse move thing. But also had some other parts arrive from Germany in a couple of days when Porsche GB made the order a priority. 3 months isn't explained by the warehouse move imo. If you haven't already, I'd call Porsche GB and have them raise a case.

Been waiting 2 months for a tow bar for a Cayenne. Apparently 60 tow bars are on their way and are due end of August.

Porsche GB advised them to mark the car as “down” in order to expedite. Made zero difference. 😓

I'd speak with Porsche GB directly if you haven't yet to find out what's actually going on. in the past 3 months I've had the following parts ordered (separate orders) and the longest lead time from Germany was 1.5 weeks:

- main throttle body
- 2 injectors
- DME
- Wiring harness
- 6 injectors

Porsche GB have always been able to give me an ETA once the part was ordered by the OPC.

I’ve been speaking to them directly throughout, but because the spoiler drive is on back order they’ve got no idea when it’s due. I did wonder how much difference the spoiler actually made, and can confirm the difference is “a lot” when it’s either windy or raining.

That's pretty poor (and frustrating)... sounds like a supplier problem. In my experience, communication between Porsche GB and Porsche AG is unbelievably terrible. On parts in particular I was told that GB can't simply pick up the phone and call someone at AG to get more information when a part shows as 'no ETA'. Everything is done via their systems and GB just have to wait for a response. It definitely doesn't feel very customer focused. Hopefully they do something to make it up to you.
