To the Porker driver that was desperately trying to climb over the back end of the Tiv this morning on the Marylebone road at 06.40, that was a lorry in front of me, big, yellow boxy thing, i couldnt go anywhere so why you persisted in driving so close (i couldnt see your lights !!) i'll never know...

Unless it was to get my decatted exhasust note resonate off the front of the car, hopefully i didnt burn too much of the front of the car on overrun...

:hehe:

If your on here say hi and dont be shy :hehe:

What Porsche was it, Hughesie? Just so we can see what a stereotypical Porsche driver in red braces drives these days?

PS I have stopped posting 'who's Tiv was it at the side of the road next to the AA van?' because we were running out of bandwidth.

How much better would you have done in the dark with him in your boot ??

it was a newish 911, easily spottable as Domster described earlier as he had a nice set of red braces on...

Maybe he saw a panel gap and thought it was a road between some buildings

You get morons in all sorts of cars, but people seem to hate and notice it more if you drive like a tt in a Porsche than any other car.
I drove the TVR like a lunatic and no one said anything, drove the Porsche exactly the same way and got a worse reaction.

LOL, poor Hughesie... I feel sorry for him now. Leave him alone, people.

He's got a TVR so has suffered enough already

Sorry i dont want to be rude but to me some of them just look like an old farts car.

I'm afriad you're somewhat ill-informed on the engine front...

Go out in one sometime, just for the experience. If you find yourself Essex way, happy to take you out for a blat.

We're all car nuts, so even if you don't "get" other people's choice of vehicle, there is no reason why you can't appreciate it...

Well, all comments are made in jest. I've driven a few Tivs and know some reliable(ish) ones as well.

But when a Tiv driver comes onto the Porsche forum complaining about one of our red-braced brethren then they have to expect a little flak I wouldn't dare venture onto the TVR boards except to say how lovely the sound

Every PHer is a car enthusiast; we are all one and the same. Even the Morgan drivers are OK... eh Clubsport and MrTony?

I'll buy Hughesie a beer at BTaP if he finds me and doesn't beat me up, LOL.
