I think it belongs to a remarkable bloke who has had it modified to be able to drive it with hand controls. Saw him at OPC East London in a 'chair. Even had leather covers for the sills for him getting in and out.

Sir, if you are there, GOOD WORK

Its parked in the same disabled bay every day in the street my offices are on (in the City, EC3). He had a Turbo coupe beforehand, now has this Turbo cab (don't like the wheels though). He also has a 993 RUF GT2 (proper GT2 with riveted on wheel arches) also in black reg P911 GTS.

He is wheelchair bound, and indeed it is converted to hand controls.

Obviously he is a car nut, however when I asked him about his RUF, he was so rude to me it was untrue, as if I was unworthy of speaking to him. Now he knows I work in the offices near where he parks, and I am always extremely smart and professional (suited and booted) so don't look like a vagrant about to ask him for a fiver. Really wasn't impressed.

I'm pretty sure he's David Edwards - IIRC a Lloyds broker - I think he's raced too in the PCGB series. Does he still own that black 993RS?

I'm sure Clubsport can give more info out on him
