Ideas on fixing a rear 996 spoiler?

[After Eight]

The black, plastic, folding cover which shows when the rear spoiler pops up has a 12 inch horizontal split down one of the folds. To save paying for a new one from Porsche which is probably going to be stupid money. I thought I'd try and repair it first. I removed the fan and stuck some duck tape on the inside where it can't be seen, but the split has started to open up again after just a few days. Is there a special glue I could use which would fix the split?

you could probably buy the rubber bit cheaply and fit it yourself?
