I'm confused - who told you that the wastegates needed replacing?
The wastegates are actually built into the turbos on a 993tt, but the bit you are talking about is the wastegate actuator - i thought they were pretty reliable.
Might be best off talking to Colin (who runs the place your link points to).

Northways told me that i might need a new (And i got the official name) Control capsel/vacum unit or 2
Due to the fact my boost is uneven
They said they were going to strip it down and have a look to see if they could find the problem and fix it without changing.
However if the Vacuum Unit does need changing then they will buy one from OPC which costs £460+VAT. But OPC hardly what you call cheap so I was wondering if any one knew of another source.
Northways have a good/trustworthy rep hence why I’m driving 60miles to them. I just want to be prepared for the worst

How many miles do your present turbos have on them? Since if they are the original units they are probably due for a recon, so it might be worth having them refurbed whilst they are off the car, then you know they are 100 % right.
Plus, you save on labour by having them refurbed now, opposed to sorting your present problem and then taking them off again in the future for more work.
I recently had mine refurbed via www.viperturbo.co.uk , cost was ~£1k.
Thanks
Martyn.
