993TT with NO SUNROOF - is this unusual?

I've just noticed how few 993's DO NOT have sunroofs. Is this quite rare/unusual? Is there an option code for sunroof delete?

Not unusual in Europe, but it is in the UK, where our RHD cars have them fitted as standard. I believe there was a deletion code available.

650 is the option code to HAVE a sunroof.

Not sure if that helps or not.

pretty sure uk and euro 993tt's had sunroof's unless deleted...

Given the 993tt's other kit (electric/leather everything) it's unusual to have it deleted.

I thought it was unusual. I wanted a sunroof less one as it gives the roof a cleaner look. Only now am I realising how lucky I was to get exactly what I wanted.

What rubbish: I wasn't aware this car had a bubble sufficient to accomodate a Prussian spike - precisely why the roof should open.

Most countries realise that having a/c negates the need for a sunroof as standard. The UK market is an odd one in that everybody seems to want a sunroof even if they have a/c, despite the fact that they're going to lose an inch or two of headroom.

Very Sideways you should no better, as I have no sunroof and there is definately no delete code in my handbook.

Though never noticed any difference in the roof line, bar the fact that you can see that you've got one
