Some good news on the Warranty Direct front. I submitted two claims on my policy for coils and a front suspension strut.

Paid promptly and without question.

Work carried out by the guys at Northway to the usual excellent standards.

£410 for the year, max £5,000 per claim. Wear and tear included as is RMS.

Terms have changed and I hear they are not now covering Boxsters.

correct - I got in before the ban (due to RMS - don't blame them) and the new owner of my car continued with the monthly payments to maintain the warranty about £40pcm with cover up to the value of the car.

Paid my RMS claim promptly although bit of a pain having to send copy of service history and MOT every time and their guy on the phone is fairly grumpy and unhelpful.

Why only OPC's? Warranty Direct only pay around 45/50 pounds towards labour. This can be upgraded i believe.

aaah, ok. as far as i know, the OPC warranty pays all bills, so, maybe its a save now, pay out later situation. still worth a look though, do you have a link?

thanks,
n.

Guess the RMS took its toll. I had heard they had Porsche under review.
