964 race car or similar
Discussion
Just having a bit of think at the moment about going racing in either sprints or porsche open next year and trying to look at some cars, so does anyone know of any stripped out 964's or similar.
As its my first year i am not thinking about full on rs 's but something cheaper to see if I am any good at it or in fact like it !!!!
Any info welcome
Thanks

I believe Kevin Harrisson is selling a 968cs fully race prepped. I also race a 968cs in the series, and this year his car has been excellent. It even won the class last year. The cars are pretty robust, few niggles with getting parts, but relavtively cheap in general. Cars are quite reliable and I believe he had a full rebuild recently too.
The Porsche club series is a very competitive series, where every race you are guarenteed some competition. Well worth a go. I think Kevin's car is listed on the pistonheads website. But I have heard a rumour that ABG Motorsport from runcorn may be purchasing and building a 968 for this comming year, and that that car may be available to rent for races. This is by no means confirmed, but there is talk of it at the moment. If you have any Q's about the racing feel free to ask..
