I think that this is a Comfort car with sports seats and no buckets etc. I guess as the GT3 starts to get a little older it will be the Club Sport variants that people will want?

Nobody seems to want them at all at the moment,when i was looking for one i was told if i was'nt goning to keep it for long,choose something else!
Prices are that bad that Lhd are only 3k less and imho i cant see it getting any better for the gt3 in the short term.
A bargin for anyone who is'nt bothered about resale.

Its winter and I think Porsche massively oversupplied on what is a very track orientated car. The reality of one on the road was probably a bit of a shock to some people.

If you have a desire for one and appreciate what it is, go for it. They are fabulous.

To be fair used sports car sales seem to be stuffed at the moment irrespective of marque or model.

There are some GT3 'Look's not far off actual GT3 prices!

They are going to be below 993 prices before you know it and then these cars are going to be absolute BARGAINS!!

Trade is just not interested in these ( relatively ) hard core cars.
I know of a dealer just traded in a mk2 for 46K!!!!!!
he could't get it underwritten for more.
Porsche got the formula wrong by not making these a limited edition.
But the cars make awesome 2nd hand buys.

This car is for sale in the Pistonheads classifieds section and may still be on EBay, where it has been for some weeks now. It is supposed to have Climate Control, but the interior pictures show 3 knobs rather than the digital display that I have in my MK1. Maybe the MK2's don't have the digital display????

Whats the opinion about MK1 residuals??? Whilst I'm sure that the MK2 prices must have a negative efect on MK1 pices, I am hoping that the MK1 prices will hold somewhat firmer on the grounds that they were relatively rare(in rhd form) and much better looking

Please somebody agree with me........

I dunno about mk1 prices being firmer. It would make no sense to me, but we shall see.

No mention of climate on the ph advert, which would put me off personally.

This is a base spec car. So cost 72K new.

A GT3 really needs the bucket seats etc etc. The only reason it was ever offered with the standard sports seats is beacuse of the Yanks....

Come on cam at 3200 revs, and cheaper to maintain
Plus only about 110 mk1's were imported
