Rotherhithe tunnel - speed cameras or not?

Just wanted clarification on whether there are speed cameras in Rotherhithe tunnel?

I keep seeing flashing red LEDs near each bend? No idea what these are

Only at each entrance (in fact I think there is only one on the south side entrance at the moment) for 20 mph. I'm told that the flashing red lights are pollution detectors...

they're to warn you the tw@t in front has no idea how wide his car is and will break to walking pace around every bend

They trialed SPECS hardware there a while back, but it appears just to be normal gatsos now.

I think those red lights detect movement in the tunnel...its a scary place down there...I recently saw a police "exrcise" taking place.. not sure if they were rehearsing for an emergency in the tunnel or a general emergency in the area

They would have got plenty of practice at the weekend, Fatal on Saturday in the Kingsway tunnel, and a double fatal on the exit of the Piccadilly tunnel tunnel on Sunday -

IMHO, Rotherhithe Tunnel isn't really a place to do >20mph anyway.
