Took my 993tt out for its first real drive for about 6 weeks today, all fine about town but got out on the open road and had a stuttering type hesitation at 4000 rpm in 5th, ok to red line in 1,2,3 and 4, and continued to red line in 5th, but in 6th not only was the stutter worse, again at 4000 rpm, but it did not want to go past 4200 rpm so I drove it home, gingerly. Anyone got any clues as to what it might be or any good advice. TIA

I seem to remember PCT had a car in with similar problems, after changing everything, they found a split diaphragm in one of the wastegates. Whatever, sounds like a session of open wallet surgery maybe on the cards !
