How much power gains can be had from removing the cats with straight through pipes? Does the ECU need to be tweeked or will the ecu adjust automatically?

I asked my mechanic this and he said you couldn't remove them-for what reason i don't remember-it seems a logical step to me.

It can be done no problem www.design911.com do them, made by fabspeed no adjustment needed. You will need an uprated sports exhaust to go with it as the standard one is'nt up to the job.
Expect gains of 12-15bhp and another 5 for the new back box.Good cheap mod well worth the money even better with ecu upgrade and headers, dont expect it to be quite though.
