annoying seat noise

I have recently replaced my 2.5 with a newer 2.7. The garage supplying the car agreed to replace the missing seat belt strap on the drivers seat (sports seats, it was missing from new!). Apparently the seat was taken apart to fit the strap. After driving the car for the past few weeks, there is a noticable "click" from the upright part of the seat. The supplying garage is a 3 hour drive away so i thought i would ask if anyone else has experienced this annoying "click" ? and any solutions ?
