Hi all

My brother has recently sold his Impreza STI and is looking for a Boxter manual 3.2s on a 2000/2001 year.

Has a budget of upto 23k to spend.

Although we are experienced when looking at cars to buy and the basics, would appriciate any advice on particular things to look at when veiwing Boxters, the pitfalls and any common issues.

Is the hardtop on these a good fit?
what is the RMS?

Having also owned an Impreza myself, we both new these cars inside out but are unfamiliar with boxters.

thanks all.

Hi - only advice I can give is to buy mine!

www.pistonheads.com/sales/44888.htm

I'm willing to do a deal that could bring it fairly close to your brothers budget and it took me ages to find one as good as this.

Good luck with your search and feel free to get in touch if mine is of interest.

Condition and Service History is very important.

I looked at 9 before I bought my 2001 Boxster S but I paid several thousand more than ones I had rejected at less money.

No oil leaks, No body damage unless minor and very well repaired, Full Porsche Service History.

Colour, extras are secondary, so is the hardtop - can always pick up a secondhand one.

HPI it - someone tried to sell me a Cat D car without stating it.

Great Car! Enjoy!
