Clarkson did his usual amusing if lightweight review of what he termed the Coxster on Sunday - in doing so however he did show that the Cayman S has its SatNav fully enabled with the full traffic flow working in the UK - my 997C2S is supposed to have it and it certainly works in Germany - if the Cayman has it working surely the 997's SatNav should work

anyone know the postion - is it down to a new CD - the OPC tweaking it ???

There was something about this in the PCGB mag last month. They were investigating with Porsche IIRC. Why not ring your dealer?

MY 05 Does NOT have working TMC in UK. You will most likely be passed to pay for new DVD - GBP 300+ VAT (your OPC will probably not charge for the necessary upgrade to software to enable new disc to be read)

MY 06 TMC-UK in good working order as supplied

Isn't the controversy that the original brochure promised it?

Just a small caveat, the post-code input is half-baked.

It will take the 1st 4 characters e.g. W1K 7 and then list roads in the area and you scroll through to chose.

In my mind it would have been preferrable to have full post-code destination routing, in this case W1K 7TU.

I wonder if that will be the MY 07 upgrade? [cynical mode - Off]
