It's only guard's red Berg, spray them yourself with a Halfords can. ![]()
Or get it professionally done when you get the bonnet done.
nothing wrong with a pink stonechipped bonnet
Hoping for that as an xmas pressie from Mrs Berg...
was that a flying pig I just saw?
Hows Dave getting on with his 355?
The cost is mainly in paint matching and preparation... new mirrors need little prep and guards red is a standard enough colour on items that don't really need a perfect match, so yeah, you should be able to negotiate an OK price for getting them done individually. As I say, get them done when they do the bonnet... probably throw them in for free and the bonnet won't be that much, maybe 150 GBP and that's prep and matching too.
As for Dave, he loves his 355 to bits but has already had one dodgy water temp electrical fault... that's fast fiats for you! Glad you're enjoying the C4; it's a good one.

Official Porsche body shops used to have a minimum charge, which funnily enough was one door mirror. It used to be about £60.00 which covers the cost
of paint matching and minimum amount of paint needed to make it worthwhile.
If I were you I would call them up and get a price over the phone, at least this will give you a bench-mark for having it done to Porsche standards with a guarantee...

Found you a set for £155.

Then sell the LHD 911 ones on ebay... you'll get a decent amount for them.

Many thanks Dom, just spoke to them and they are replicas that use the existing motor from my mirrors and also dont collapse when pushed, but then they are £155 so I guess Im in the replica rather than 2nd hand market ! Now all I need is to get them painted and on the old girl (which isnt going to use up the £250 squid I saved).
