One of my local dealers (different name but owned by kwikfit) is doing 25% off for four continentals. In which case you might like try 4 SportContact2s, which I know Rods and MOD500 run on their turbos.

You may also like to consider any "protyre" outfit, which is owned by micheldever so should be up for a price match.

(I normally get a price from mytyres and get a local indeopendent to match it. Although I probably get away with whi because I regularly use them for six cars)

You could always call Bracknell Tyre and Battery - they're usually far and away the cheapest round these parts and they buy from Micheldever and undercut them!
They're about 25 minutes from Heathrow if that's any help.

Tonker, my dealer is in Bristol. Although for you being Surrey based I'd give Verysideway's a suggestion a try first. I can't imagine Pete being too far off the mark in getting the best deal going.

PS - If you want to email me sizes and type of tyre wanted and I'll get you a quote as I'm at the tyre depot this afternoon getting another four tyres put on a family members car. I always find face to face quotes are best.

I would recommend not splitting brands and would even say it's preferable to get the same "N" number.

On my porsche I normally use tyres at the ratio of two rears for every front. So with 5/6mm on your fronts, it's definitely worth just getting 2 more Pilot sport rears for now. Incidently Mytyres are listing two types; Pilot Sport N1 at £200 and Pilot Sport PS2 at £232.20 per tyre. Which type do you have on the fronts currently?

I'll try and get a quote for 2 rears when I am at the garage later. Although as they're needed immediately maybe Pete's place can probably sort you out quicker at a similar price.
