I am rapidly falling deeper & deeper in love with my 993.
Midnight blue (96)with all the trimmings. 1 previous owner, 25K.
Minor dents sorted, new shoes and clear indicators fitted. Running like a dream. It now looks & feels like a new car.

Im turning obsessive and want the car to remain as original as possible (apart from maybe some RSR's he he!) and the clear indicators which modernise it a little. Ohh and maybe some Xenon lights!

I have checked the tool kit and it is unused, as is the jack.Gloves in the original wrapping.
Whilst looking I also found a Porsche tyre pressure gauge and pump, again as new. Are these standard issue?
Finally what should be in the tool kit? A quick look at the manual didn't list the tools & there are a couple of empty spaces in the tool bag.

I think I may be developing an unhealthy obsession with my first 911. Is this normal?
I keep finding myself sneaking off to the garage to check on her!

Perfectly normal.

My Dad's business partner needed some serious consoling when he had to sell his 964 RS. The guy was literally a wreck.

Glad you're enjoying a normal relationship with your 993. It doesn't wear off - I've had mine for just short of 2 years and I'm still doing that!

Dude, welcome to the club. I'm on my third 993 and it doesn't get any easier.

Don't worry, it's normal. Most 911's have no trouble bonding with their owners

Mine is certainly bonding with me. It doesn't feel like a short-term fling, more like a wonderfully deep and meaningful love affair...

I don't even need to get up and go to the window to look at her, just knowing she's there and doing fine is enough for me
