1990's 964 c2 Classic car insurance ?

Just a quickie as the early 964's are over 15 years old now do they clasify for classic car insurance ? If so how much ish ?

Yes. I was paying about £400 through Performance Marque, second car, garaged, 5000 miles and doesn't use your NCB. I've now changed to a normal policy, because PM weren't including track day cover with their classic policy.

I went through Classicline in Leicestershire, £400 for a 1990 C4. 5000 miles pa. Unlike a lot of policies it builds your NCB which is helpful as I have been driving company cars for over 8 years.

I was quoted over £3k for a mainstream policy, £1500 more than I paid 3 years ago to insure a brand new Elise!! & I only have 3 points on my Licence & have never made a claim.

Asset Trust offer classic insurance for anything more than 8 years old.

I've just insured my 993 with Asset Trust, half the price of best 'normal' quote. Very helpful and courteous, appears a good policy, and no issues with modifications / lack of garaging / speeding convictions. My car is a 1994 so yours should be fine.

masterquote.co.uk could be worthwhile. I managed to insure my 1984 3.2 Carrera for the piffling sum of £330 (10 years NCD, 6000 miles annually, Thatcham 1 alarm/immobiliser, garaged) and that's with a recent one month ban for doing 111mph on the M20. Ahem...
