Best bet is to get a remote bullet cam and strap that to the roll cage, then you can soft mount the camcorder somewhere safe.

Been asked this one before.

You need a product from Demon Tweaks, product code PEG2420 and it will set you back £97.59 plus Vat. Camera mounts properly and comes with a strap to comply with scrutineering regs.

We`ve used them for a while now and have had no problems.

They also do a similarly priced mount from Hama. Code PEGCMHAMA at £96.41 plus vat. I`ve used this on road cars and it`s ok, it works on a suction principal and will not pass scrutineering on a race car.
