supercharger power output

the supercharger kit by 9meister, is the power quoted at the wheels bhp (350 ish) or flywheel?

Flywheel I guess, it certainly didn't feel like 350 at the wheels

Drive before you buy - It does all it says it does but it also changes the character of the engine - you need to be happy with this before you plunge in. I took mine off, not becuase it didn't work, just because I didn't particularly like it.

Colin was v helpful - even thought I was undoing all his hard work.

Certainly gives you more torque low down and the engine feels more lively above 5k, but I always felt the throttle response was dulled off so some extent. Its quite hard to explain really, it just didn't feel that fast, though I'm sure it was. Interestingly the guy who had it before me felt the same and actually timed the car Vs other 993s. It was quite a bit quicker point to point.

I prefer it without it on because I love he character of 911s and i changes this I sold my 968 to get the 993. Given unlimited funds I would love to supercharge a 968 - that would be fantastic.

I could have sold the kit 10 times over!

james, how bigger job was it to take off the supercharger? if i get my 993 supercharged id like to do trackdays without the charger cos of the heat issues that colin told me about

9M quote about £800 to install one so it'll be a 5 minute job (only joking Colin)

It was an engine out job so I'm not sure its realitic to take it off for track days.
