Now I know there have been lots of threads on this topic - and believe me I've read them all - but I'm still no clearer on how my 3 year old daughter will travel safely in the back of a 968 cab with just lap belts.

So either I find a restraint that will work with just a lap-belt or I fit some three point belts. So....

1 does anyone know of a suitable seat?
2 does anyone know a company that will retro fit three point seat belts (I understand that it might involve a bar across the back of the rear passenger seat).

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Richard

The firm that quoted me were Quickfit saftely belt service from Stanmore in Middlesex number 0208 206 0101. They advertise in Porsche post and I think in P and 911 World.
They quoted approximately £500 about 12 months ago which included welding a bar in the boot to anchor the belts.

The Porsche prince works with lap belts, I assume it will fit in the rear of a 968. I have the Mercedes version, it is identical and cheaper, in the back of my 3.2. But I think it only goes up to 4 years, depending on child size.

Thanks David.

Spoke to Quickfit who were really helpful. They now do a seperate attachment for each side that costs just £45 per belt. So no need for the expensive bar anymore! And a Maxi Cosy Roadie then fits perfectly into the seat. Sorted!

By the way David, Peter M says he's left you a message on your mobile about Saturday.
