an odd one, this. I fixed my leaky cab roof using zymol seal to refresh the rubber seals, and renovo ultraproofer on the canvas roof itself. all worked well, even in downpours.
the other night I found that it had rained just as the temp plummeted and the small amount of water that had soaked into the canvas roof had frozen, giving me a solid, icy roof.
now its melted and the canvas is leaking again, just at the rubber seal/canvas points at the roof edges.
I presume the expansion caused by the ice in the material has opened up the fibres and ballsed up the effect of the renovo.
anyone else had this happen?
