i am currently studying physics a-level and am doing a piece of materials coursework on the carbon ceramic brake disks, comparing them to the iron vertion. if anyone could point me in the direction of any information on this topic it would be gratefully recieved, there seems to be very little information about them anywhere

IIRC there was a very good article in evo a while back. I'm not sure I've still got the mag though.

Try googling for silicon carbide and brakes and you should find something useful.

You could try writing a letter to the brake manufacturers,e.g. Brembo, AP, also try writing to Prodrive and say Williams F1
