New discounted wheels?
Discussion
Hi, does anyone know anywhere to get Porsche's current wheel designs on the cheap? I'm looking for a set of 19's for a boxster(987) but i'm not keen on paying £2500ish for them. I would be interested in second hand ones as long as they were in perfect condition.
Thanks
James
P.S. I've currently got the boxster S wheels if anyone wants to P/Ex.

Hi Guys,
Formerly a member of the TVR site, but defecting to Porsche as I can't resist one for too much longer.
Just a question, why do we want to find a set if "Perfect condition" 2nd hand wheels at much less than retail. What is there about a set of alloys that we would expect them to depreciate just because they aren't spanking new?
It's not like they wear out and we have to spend money maintaining them - like our cars.
just a thought

ebay for second hand ones. Design 911 in Essex do copies of famous Porsche designs (and some originals too). Your local friendly OPC if you feel like having your eyes torn out
Best way might be to pick up a copy of 911&Porsche World or GT Purely Porsche and look through all the suppliers in there.
Have you tried Tech9 Motorsport www.tech9.ms they always have wheels & tyre sets in.

Ok, pretty sure I've found some, anyone got any ideas how much my 18 inch boxster S alloys will fetch? Tyres have covered 6000miles, all wheels are unmarked.
Can anyone tell me if these boxster S wheels will fit a 986??
Thanks
Give some of the companies mentioned a call.

Try Jasmine for real Porsche (new and used) stuff...
www.jasmine-motorsport.co.uk
I got mine from Techart but jasmine also offer OE wheels at reduced prices.

How much would you be prepared to sell your 18" 987 S wheels for including tyres (assuming the wheels are unmarked) To upgarde my 17" whhels on my 987 Boxter?
The tyres have covered 6000 miles and are in good shape. Looking for £1100ish (including delivery), interested?

I was thinking more along the lines of £700 - £800, I would be prepared to collect them.
