Thanks gents...
Car is great, say no more. I might even have to visit you one weekend Doc - just to have an excuse to drive a long way.

You're very welcome any time, Tom. Maybe you fancy Spa next year? Or perhaps a track day at Croft?......Or just a drive in the Lakes?

It is always nice to welcome back an old friend (N22, not you Houlbt - sorry) so I dare say that we can find some way of doing the job even if I have to do it myself!
No fear Colin... I plan on bringing the car to 9M for loving care in the future, you come highly recommended
It does not look like I will get the geometry checked this Week as I really MUST do my xmas shopping on Friday (ugh do I not like that). Nothing to especially suggest the setup is wrong any tyre wear is fine anyhow.
Fog lights.... doh if they were on then that's embarrassing.
If you're passing you should still drop in and take a peek at the ultimate Xmas present for N22 - the new 9m billet cylinder heads. We have just received the first production batch & fitted a set to a 98,000 mile standard 993VR. Popped in a set of our sport hydraulic cams and 100 cell cats, after a live remap of the stock ecu & fuel system it made over 350bhp corrected (369bhp flywheel, 335bhp at the wheels uncorrected) with absolutely no other engine mods. Just imagine what they would do on your 3.8RS?!?

Approximate cost?
Houlbt,
Car looks stunning....just moved over to Bermuda and your picture is pulling at the heart strings pretty badly for my RS all tucked up in storage.
I got the geometry done on my RS by Jaz who are based in Wembley. They have put slightly more camber on than standard plus some other adjustments. Could be more convenient for you but then again 9M know the car. Can't recommend Jaz highly enough however.
Cheers,
Ben.

Thanks for the compliment Ben and the comment re JAZ.... have heard good things about them also.
Boxing Day... unlikely I'm afraid as I will be spending Xmas out of London.
Colin... please don't show me any more engine porn... I am trying to recover from that old addiction.
I used to have a lovely concours alpine white E30 M3 that took me 6 months to locate in Germany.. shortly after my return two gents from a well known BMW specialist started showing me similar porn and I ended up with a stipped out & caged track tool (albeit with concours condition body and paintwork)
I've told myself that if I want to go that route again I will just buy a race car straight out - but I am prone to changing my mind. The worry with me is once I start it all gets a bit out of hand - I don't think there was much original left on my E30M3 beyond the chassis, wings and steering column.
Nice porn though!!
No... the serious mod money is going in the race-car pot thanks.
