Unless Trousers Brown signs up for giving loyalty discounts, I can't see this achieving anything.

As these people say themselves, approx 20p is not tax. Of this, they are looking for 5-10p discount. Am I alone in finding this unlikely to happen.

On the other hand... Tesco 99 is now 88p and you get 5p off if you buy their food. That's about 15p cheaper than Optimax.

Put some in at the weekend when I was down south and definitely good stuff.

So, if anyone from Tesco is reading this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we get it nationwide (or, selfishly, at least in Lincolnshire?)

What's it got to do with Brown? The arrangement is between the loyalty card issuers and the fuel supplier.

The suggestion being that there isn't enough margin in the fuel itself to cut by 5-10p as most of the cost is actually tax.
