Can anyone recommend any good specialists in the Dorset area?

I've only just picked up my 944 so haven't had time to join clubs / get to know the car or specialists, but my wipers have packed up and I want to get them fixed ASAP ....

Ta!

Hi,

Keystone in Ringwood (Hants) concentrate on German cars and are really good, but aren't a porsche specialist.

Otherwise I believe Steve Bull up near Salisbury comes highly recommended.

I am not aware of any actually in Dorset

depends where in dorset you are. if the devon end then you couldn't do better than crispin manners at oaktree garage, just on the ouskirts of sidmouth. he has looked after my 944 and 968 for the last 7 years. very knowledgeable, bit of a perfectionist but thats no bad thing, very straight. 01395 568498

Brilliant, thanks chaps.

I'm more or less on the Devon border, so I'll check out the Sidmouth contact.

Thanks again.

Steve Bull is Devizes - top bloke.

Or MR Performance on the A36 just north of Wilton.

I can recommend both.

Although if its you windscreen wipers, chances are its electrical (fuse/relay) so I would give the OPC in Poole a ring.

Hope this helps Andy.

I'll second the nomination for Crispin Manners. He's looked atfer my 993 for the last 3 years and been very good with it. Not cheap though...

"chances are its electrical "

Nah, it's mechanical - the ball joint connecting the wiper arm to the bit that goes back and forth and up and down is knackered and keeps popping out.
