Spoiler not coming up automatically on 996

I've found the button to make it go up and down manually, but it doesn't pop up when I get to 19mpg. Any thoughts? Is it knackered?

I peeked out of the back today and lo, the spoiler had popped up. Maybe it had been there all along. I'm still getting the warning light after starting up, tho.

You get that light until you go over 6MPH, it tells you that it's working correctly. All explained in the manual
