Unbiased advice for you Martin :D

Made myself very unpopular over christmas by letting my brother and brother in law have a drive in my 964. They both now want a porsche and my sister and sister in law are not amused.
I have my view of course but for the benefit of my big brother could I ask for your views on what he should look for based on the following:
He wants to spend not too much on the purchase say £10-20k
He wants something he can use regularly 2-3 times a week but will probably only do 3-5 k miles a year.
He doesnt want something that will depreciate significantly
He wants an exciting fun car
He can spend £1k per year to service and maintain
View on model and type, LHD/RHD, cab vrs targa vrs Coupe, manual V tiptronic all welcome
His only previous Porsche was a 944 (Lux I think)
Suggestions ?

ICSD - that's the picture i was looking for last night! Couldn't remember whose profile i'd seen it in
Bought myself a Saab 9000 in December so that I can take the strain off of the 3.2 and she's been under cover since. Pulls the old heart strings just looking at the picture!

I did this when I bought my first Porsche and have never looked back....although I miss every car I've sold!
