With impending arrival of a second sprog in order to convince my wife that I should keep the car I'm after some roof bars. OPC want £303 ... which is generous of them.
Anyone had similar and found a cheaper alternative? Or does anyone have any for sale?
Car = MY2003 996 Coupe.
Thanks

Fullham you are the man who seems to have a solution for rear facing baby seats for the back of a 996, would you share the name of the kit ?
I have a first one due in July and will have to give it to adoption if I can't fit him/her in the 911.....
For our first we had a Chicco trio (3-in-1 pushchair, carry-cot, rear-facing seat). The rear facing seat fitted in the back fine (if you put front seat forward a bit!). I intend to use the same system for our second.
The seat is little different from others so I see no reason why they shouldn't fit. The problem is more acute for forward facing seats as I seem to remember. Our rear facing seat is in Italy so I can't pop home and try this evening but I sure you'll be OK.
In fact I remember driving up to Yorksihre with no. 1 in the back with the rear facer. Wife was a bit squashed though.

I bought Saab OPC roof bars once and then later found out they were Thule bars. I'm pretty sure that the OPC bars will not be made by Porsche so I'd suggest finding out who makes them and then do a search on the interweb to buy direct from a roof bar dealer.

Sometimes they are cheaper than UK sometimes same price.
