I have problems fitting into a manual RHD 996 as my left knee/calf is squeezed between the middle console and the steering wheel. I have noticed that in a GT3 with sport seats there is more space. Is it possible to take out / remove the buttom of the middle console (where the disc drawers are) in order to free up space?.

This is actually a factory option, and is most common in GT3's

I think Kurgen (GT3RS) has recently done it.

Think you just need blanking plate to cover the area in front of gear stick

Or i'm talking complete Bo**ocks ????

Ok this solves the problem. Thanks or your help. I will now go GT3 hunting in time for the track day season.
