Europe Sat nav disc

Hi Guys,
I'm off on a short trip to Belgium. I know it's not the ideal place to stretch the legs of my tt , but it should be less crowded than here.
If anyone has a Sat Nav disc for Europe for a car registered in 03/2002 please let me know as I might be in to buy it. If I am correct this is the PCM 1 system and I daren't phone an OPC to find out what they would charge.

Anyone got any tips on best product to keep the alloys clean ? I think I need to do a bit more than a wash , but don't want to have to take the wheels off !!

One more thing, with the windscreen wiper on the bottom setting, so called intermittent / rain sensitive all I seem to get is one wipe every couple of minutes which is not rain sensitive at all. Does the sensor frequently not work on this , as irresoective of where the circular switch is set, it makes no difference. Any idea?

One more question; was it a big design error having the Bose subwoofers behind the rear seat, or is it meant to sound better with the seats in normal position?

Take the A25 from Dunkirk towards Lille, Tournai and then Brussels if you can. Most is 2 lane but deserted alot of the time

not sure if you realise but your UK disk may cover all major European roads.

just plot a route from where you are in the UK to say Geneva to validate, but I think it's true. Maybe you wont need a BE disk ?

You can buy the CD from www.navishop24.com for 165 Euros, I got my 2005 UK CD from them and they deliver quickly.

Is the UK one fully up to date? When i contacted porsche about PCM I discs they told me that it was last updated in 2003

On the wiper issue I usually put it on intermittent/automatic sensor and then turn the buttom to adjust the intervals.

Yes the UK disc is fully up to date, Porsche don't supply updated maps for PCM 1 any more but Vauxhall/Opel do and they work perfectly in PCM 1 16 bit units!
