PA1000 / 2000 fix

Hopefully this might be of some use, it took a while to get to the bottom of a problem I was having with my alarm. Even a couple of the good indies drew a blank when my PA1000 went out of synch with the remotes following a flat battery ( 6 month old Porsche battery but that’s another story.)

Apparently all these were installed by a company called Hamilton and Palmer from Kemsing in Kent. They will reprogramme a PA1000, even re-supplying a red mater remote, refurbish you key pads etc for less than £100.

What system will I have on my 2002 996tt? Is it Thatcham approved? I need to supply evidence to the insurance company that it is.
